2017 Florida Firefighter Invitational Credentials for all participants will be available at the Captains meeting.
General Information:
Only officially registered Boats and Anglers can compete in the tournament. This tournament is open to the public There will be a maximum of 5 anglers per boat. Special prizes for the Public Safety Sector.
On sight registration is allowed
FISHING RULES
The tournament will be fished consistent with and enforced pursuant to the laws of this state. Any violation of Florida State Statute will result in disqualification for that team. It will be the responsibility of the angler to review Florida State Statutes and FWC Rules & Regulations. All vessels shall be equipped with the minimum Coast Guard safety requirements for that vessel.
Boundaries: There are no Boundaries, Boat must check-in at Captains meeting.
Lines in the water at daylight.
Species are:
Dolphin, Wahoo, Kingfish, Cobia, Wahoo, Biggest fish
Cash prizes and Awards will be provided
TBA , pending boat entries, prizes will be discussed at Captains meeting.
SPORTSMANSHIP
All participants will exercise good sportsmanship whether at the dock, under way or fishing. Violators will be subject to disqualification without refund.

- NO hired guides and/or hired chartered boats will be permitted to participate in the offshore tournament. If you are a Charter Captain and one of the above you are allowed in the tournament. This is to make sure the Captain does not get paid for a charter and win the tournament.
